Teachers are the heart of the CDA and deserve much of the credit for student achievements. We could not accomplish our mission goals without them, and we strongly believe that their compensation should reflect their valuable contribution. In a field well-known for underpaying for such a vitally important service, the CDA believes it is important that teachers be paid a competitive and professional wage and should never have to purchase supplies for their classrooms.
